Whole person care webinar series |
Advancing cardiovascular and endothelial health through risk panel testing and evidence-based strategies |
Join us on March 6th at 2 p.m. ET to learn how the Cardio IQ® Metabolic Risk Panel goes beyond standard lipid testing. Explore how green seaweed extract (Monostroma nitidum) supports glycocalyx integrity and vascular function. Finally, discover how Fullscript’s tools and protocols help you seamlessly integrate evidence-based strategies into your clinical practice. |
Whole person care strategies for vascular health and inflammation |
Join us on March 20th at 2 p.m. ET to learn how to utilize inflammation testing by Quest Diagnostics to assess your patients’ cardiovascular risk through key vascular markers. Explore the cutting-edge role of specialized pro-resolving mediators (SPMs) and their role in promoting a pro-resolution inflammatory response. Finally, discover how Fullscript’s tools and protocols can help you seamlessly integrate evidence-based strategies into your clinical practice. |

The oral-cardiovascular health axis |
Emerging research highlights the critical yet often-overlooked link between oral and cardiovascular health. A Japanese case-control study found that Streptococcus anginosus was significantly more abundant in the saliva and gut of stroke patients. S. anginosus was linked to a 20% higher risk of stroke. (Tonomura 2025) A 25-year observational analysis of 6,000 US adults linked flossing to significantly lower risks of ischemic and cardioembolic stroke, as well as atrial fibrillation, independent of brushing and dental visits. (Sen 2025) Though preliminary, these studies reinforce the importance of oral hygiene in supporting cardiovascular health. |

Comprehensive metabolic health protocol |
Developed in collaboration with OvationLab, this protocol takes a comprehensive approach to metabolic health. |
|
|
Quest Diagnostics Cardio IQ® Metabolic Risk Panel |
A comprehensive cardiovascular assessment designed for early detection of metabolic risk. Unlike a standard lipid panel, it provides a deeper evaluation of cardiovascular disease (CVD) risk by including key biomarkers such as ApoB, hemoglobin A1C, insulin, and C-peptide, along with an insulin resistance score. |

MonitumRS™ is a rhamnan sulfate extract from Monostroma nitidum. An in-vitro study found high glucose degraded the endothelial glycocalyx, while MonitumRS™ effectively reversed the damage. (Chinese Academy of Sciences 2023) A six-month case series assessed the effects of daily supplementation in six high-risk patients with carotid atherosclerosis who were unresponsive to prior interventions. Carotid intima-media thickness (CIMT) ultrasound showed a significant reduction in total plaque burden and maximum plaque thickness. These findings suggest MonitumRS™ may support atherosclerotic plaque reduction. (Burke 2023) |
Specialized pro-resolving mediators (SPMs) |
SPMs are omega-3-derived lipids that actively resolve inflammation, promoting tissue repair and immune balance. A five-day open-label study involving ten healthy volunteers and ten patients with peripheral artery disease (PAD) found that supplementation increased plasma SPM levels, enhanced leukocyte activity, and shifted monocytes toward an anti-inflammatory state, with the strongest effects in the patients with PAD. These results suggest a potential therapeutic benefit for inflammation resolution in vascular health. (Schaller 2020) |
